Chita Swing

The Chita swing’s flower and cursive patterns come from the chita print, the popular fabric of indigenous indian origin that is common and omnipresent in the Brazilian society.

The swing has a steel structure and a mooring of naval rope that covers the exotic frame design. The piece reflects Sergio J Matos’ affective relationship with the Northeastern culture and favors artisanal techniques that make this piece unique.
